MENTORSHIP:


Global Gaming Women is dedicated to empowering and advancing women in the gaming industry by offering mentorship programs and networking avenues. GGW holds a strong belief that mentor-to-mentee relationships help women grow professionally and personally.


Lean In Circles:

◯ Through our Lean In Circles, women connect with one another to share advice, experiences, and best practices. Whether you’re new to gaming or an industry veteran, our programs assist in providing the tools and support needed to achieve your goals.

◯ Lean In Circles represent intimate gatherings of women who convene regularly to collectively learn and develop. These circles are specifically designed to harness the strength of peer support, mentorship, and the exchange of shared experiences. Many participants have described their Circle as having a personal advisory board, which empowers them to enhance both their personal and professional aspects of life.

◯ GGW Lean In Circles encompasses a wide diversity found within the gaming community, yet all participants share a common bond: the power of peer support. 

◯ How can a Lean In circle help me? Circles will openly discuss topics to include, but not limited to:

Power, influence, and the art of persuasion
Gender equality
Work-life balance and the economics of well-being
Personal branding
Effective workplace communication
Inclusive leadership

Strategies for personal growth and confidence building and more!

GGW Lean In circle applications are open to all women working in the gaming industry. Each year, in the fall, we open the application process for aspiring GGW Lean In Circle moderators and  participants.

SIP & SOCIAL:
Sip & Social Lean In Events occur both in-person and virtually. The events prioritize fostering connections and are designed for gaming professionals to come together, exchange knowledge and stories, forge new friendships, and cultivate a robust network. These events consist of inspirational talks, group gatherings, and, most importantly, an enjoyable atmosphere for like-minded professionals.

Virtual Mentorship Program:

At Global Gaming Women, we’re proud to offer the One Up One Down Mentorship Program—a unique and powerful opportunity designed to foster a sense of community, global connection, and shared growth among women in the gaming industry.

This program pairs less experienced professionals (One Down) with more experienced peers (One Up) in a near-peer mentorship model. By connecting individuals who are just a few steps apart in their career journeys, we ensure that the guidance shared is relevant, relatable, and immediately impactful.

Our goal is to increase visibility and support for women across the gaming industry while empowering each participant—mentor and mentee alike—to grow personally and professionally through authentic, confidence-building relationships.
